Several examples of reasonable care and its application in case law are provided. In the medical malpractice case of Hernandez v. In the car accident case of Estate of Trigg v. Ford Motor Company, the auto manufacturer was found negligent for failing to provide proper safety features in the vehicle, specifically for not addressing a faulty seatbelt.
